GameBoy Cake by pateachoux GameBoy Cake by pateachoux
This is a photo that was taken last November (2004) of the birthday cake I made for my friend Justin. He is a big Nintendo fan and I had so much fun making this cake. I don't know if any of you have tried making grey frosting from black frosting and white frosting, but it is HARD! At first it looks green and you have to add more white until it looks grey. This is one of the cakes I am most proud of.

The grey is dark, but like you said, making grey frosting from black is kinda hard. The trick is to add the black to the white ;) Lookin Good

Not bad, but it looks to be a bit misshapen in the corner. It's been awhile since I've played a gameboy, but I don't remember the side with the speaker being quite so round.

It's a little bit too round, but it is a hard thing to cut.

Hey! I remember this cake! ^___^ This was a really cool cake! I don't think you should've submitted this pic to the photography section at all...

You should've submitted it under "Artisan Crafts" subheading "Culinary Arts"....
Since the real art here is your beautiful cake!!!!!
